Egret Cuts
The Eastern Great Egret is an Australian native bird with its distinctive feathers that seem to cascade down an egret's back during the breeding season. Hand cut organic shapes are used to create the Egret from linen paper. This is lifted off the frame in which it is housed to give a feeling of depth and flight as it would be in the wild.
